You don’t need a hunting license to join us on a Pork Police thermal hog hunt. Since feral hogs are classified as invasive pests in Texas, they can be hunted year-round without a license. We provide all the gear, firearms, and guidance you need—just show up ready for the adventure.

Yes — you’re welcome to keep meat, but it cuts into hunting time. We have to stop right after the kill to clean, bag, and ice it so it doesn’t spoil in the heat. Only small pigs are worth keeping — big boars taste awful.

We’ll cut backstraps for free, and it’s $25 per shoulder, bagged and iced on the spot.

Pants required – No shorts allowed.
Boots required – No sandals or sneakers.

Language requirement – A basic understanding of English is required.
(Broken English is okay, but you must be able to understand the safety briefing.)

Firearms policy – Do not handle any firearms (including handguns) until after the in-person safety briefing.

Minors (under 18) – If a minor is hunting, a parent or guardian must notify the guide in advance by call, text, or email.

No Alcohol
For everyone’s safety, alcohol is not allowed before or during the hunt. If you arrive under the influence, you will not be permitted to participate and no refund will be issued. We take safety seriously — firearms and alcohol do not mix.

Cancellation Policy
7+ days’ notice = full deposit refund.
Less than 7 days = deposit forfeited.
Reschedules follow same 7-day rule and depend on availability.

Weather Policy
Unsafe weather = we reschedule.
No hunts after heavy rains.
Out-of-state hunters: consider travel insurance.

Payment Terms
Deposit secures your hunt.
Balance due on hunt day.
Deposit applies to total price.
